Kanye West in Faro 2026 –
Everything You Need to Know
Concert guide, transport options, where to stay and what to do in the Algarve this August.
It's official. On 7 August 2026, Kanye West — now performing as Ye — takes the stage at Estádio do Algarve in Faro, returning to Portugal for the first time in 15 years. Part of his European stadium tour behind new album Bully, this is one of the most anticipated concerts the country has seen in a generation — and it's happening right here in the Algarve.
Whether you're flying in from abroad or already based in southern Portugal, this guide covers everything: the concert details, how to get there without the headache, where to stay and how to make the most of your time in one of Europe's most spectacular regions.

Concert details & tickets
Ye's Algarve date is a standalone show — the only performance in Portugal on the entire tour. The stage setup is rumoured to be the most ambitious production he has ever toured with, in keeping with his reputation for theatrical, visually overwhelming live experiences. Potential guests on the night include Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign and Future, though nothing has been officially confirmed.
Date: Friday, 7 August 2026
Venue: Estádio do Algarve, between Faro and Loulé
Doors open: 19:00 | Show starts: 21:00
Age classification: 6 years and over
Tickets: €119 – €500 via BOL and official resellers
Tickets have sold at a pace rarely seen in Portugal. More than 20,000 were claimed in the first two hours of the presale alone, with buyers registering from 40 different countries. If you haven't secured yours yet, check the BOL website and authorised secondary resellers. Avoid unofficial sources — event fraud around high-demand concerts is common.
The concert forms part of Ye's European stadium run, which kicks off in Istanbul in late May and passes through the Netherlands, Spain, France and Italy before arriving in Portugal. The Algarve date is not just a tour stop — the organisers are positioning it as a landmark cultural event for the entire region.
How to get to Estádio do Algarve
Estádio do Algarve sits between Faro and Loulé, roughly 8 km from Faro city centre and 12 km from Faro Airport. On a normal day it's a straightforward drive. On the night of a major stadium concert — with tens of thousands of people converging on the same venue — getting there and, more importantly, getting back, requires a plan.
Book your concert transfer
We offer private door-to-door transfers to and from Estádio do Algarve for the Kanye West concert. Fixed price, no surge charging, and a confirmed return pickup after the show.
Book your transfer nowWhy book a private transfer?
We've been moving people around the Algarve for years. A concert of this scale — with tens of thousands of attendees, a venue that rarely hosts events of this magnitude — is going to create serious logistical pressure.
Here's what a private transfer gives you that nothing else does:
Door to door
We pick you up from your hotel, villa or the airport and drop you directly at the venue entrance.
Fixed price
No surge pricing. You agree the fare before you travel — no surprises after midnight.
Guaranteed return
Your driver will be waiting for you after the show, however long it runs. No queuing, no waiting, no wasted time.
We know the routes
We know every back road around the stadium. When the main exits are gridlocked, we know another way.
We cover transfers from Faro Airport, Faro city centre, Loulé, Albufeira, Lagos, Vilamoura, Portimão, Tavira and all points in between. If you're coming from further afield — the Alentejo, Lisbon, Spain — get in touch and we'll work something out.
Where to stay in the Algarve
August accommodation in the Algarve is competitive in a normal year. For the week of the 7th, with international fans arriving from 40 countries, it will be exceptional. If you haven't booked yet, book today — not this week, today.
Faro city centre
The closest option to the stadium and the most convenient for a single-night visit. Faro is often overlooked by visitors rushing west to the resort towns, but it has a genuine character — a walled medieval old town, a quiet lagoon, excellent restaurants and a pace that feels authentically Portuguese rather than package-tourist optimised. A good base if you're coming just for the concert.
Loulé & the stadium area
Even closer to the venue than Faro city. Loulé is a proper Portuguese market town with one of the best fresh-produce markets in the Algarve. If you can find accommodation here, the stadium is almost on your doorstep.
Vilamoura & Albufeira
The resort belt stretching west of Faro offers the largest concentration of hotels, apartments and villas in the Algarve. Albufeira is the busiest and most commercial — good availability, easy to navigate, about 45 minutes from the stadium. Vilamoura is more upmarket, with a marina, golf courses and a more relaxed atmosphere.
Lagos & the western Algarve
An hour from the stadium, but if you're planning more than one night, Lagos is the best base. Cobbled streets, dramatic sea cliffs at Ponta da Piedade, a genuinely lively town centre and easy access to the wilder western coastline. From Lagos, Sagres is just 30 minutes away.
Our tip: If you're flying in specifically for the concert, consider arriving a day or two early. August in the Algarve is extraordinary — you don't want to fly in, see the show and fly out without experiencing where you've been.
What to do while you're in the Algarve
The concert is the occasion, but the Algarve is the destination. August means dry heat, warm evenings, exceptional seafood and some of the most spectacular coastline in Europe — from the limestone cliffs and golden beaches of the central Algarve to the raw Atlantic exposure of the far west.
Faro's historic centre
Wander the walled old town, visit the bone chapel in the Igreja do Carmo and take a boat into the Ria Formosa lagoon. An underrated Portuguese city.
Praia do Camilo, Lagos
One of the most photographed beaches in Portugal — golden rock arches, turquoise water, a wooden staircase down to the sand. Arrive early in August.
Sagres & Costa Vicentina
No high-rises. No all-inclusive pools. Just raw Atlantic surf, wind-scoured headlands and a village where locals still outnumber visitors.
Loulé Saturday market
The best fresh produce market in the Algarve, held on Saturday mornings. Local cheese, smoked fish, honey, almonds, ceramics — the real thing.
Ria Formosa Natural Park
A vast coastal lagoon stretching 60 km east of Faro. Home to flamingos, seahorses and some of the region's most serene beaches, accessible only by boat.
Need a transfer from the airport, or between towns?
We cover the whole region — airports, train stations, hotels and private villas. Get in touch and we'll sort the logistics while you focus on the trip.
Frequently asked questions
When is Kanye West performing in Faro?
Friday, 7 August 2026 at Estádio do Algarve. Doors open at 19:00, the show starts at 21:00. It is the only date in Portugal on the European tour.
Where exactly is Estádio do Algarve?
The stadium is located between Faro and Loulé, approximately 8 km from Faro city centre and 12 km from Faro Airport. The full address is Sítio do Jogo da Bola, 8005-295 Faro.
How do I get from Faro Airport to the concert?
The easiest and most reliable option is a private transfer. We offer direct door-to-door transfers from Faro Airport to Estádio do Algarve, including a confirmed return pickup after the show. Book your transfer here.
What are the ticket prices for the Kanye West Algarve concert?
Tickets range from €119 for standard standing areas to €500 for premium Golden Circle sections. They are available via BOL and authorised resellers.
Is there parking at Estádio do Algarve?
There is limited parking at the stadium, but for a concert of this scale it will fill up long before the show starts. Post-show congestion at stadium car parks can add 60–90 minutes to your journey home. A private transfer is a significantly better option.

What should I know about visiting the Algarve in August?

The beaches are busy during the day but the evenings are warm and the coastal towns come alive. It's genuinely one of the best months to visit, if you plan ahead.
